If you follow the timeline...word, sentence, paragraph, page, chapter, book, books...history. I was saying the other day...when someone confirms something, they say "word." For example, "that movie was off the hook wasn't it?"...."word!" Rarely does "number" get that kind of affection and attention. The sheer fact that I can spell out the word NUMBER goes to show word's superiority.
